A small vintage 1920's/30’s European silver mounted tooth charm. I will be honest and say I have no idea if this is a real tooth or not, it is dull when chinked against my own tooth, so definitely not glass or stone, and has a slight translucency to it. I am also unsure if it is human or animal but if anyone knows please do get in touch. An unusual piece.
It measures 12mm (1/2 an inch) by 8mm (5/16ths of an inch) and weighs 0.7 grammes. Unmarked but tested as at least 800 grade silver. There are a couple of scratches to the tooth but otherwise very good condition just some light tarnish to the silver mount.
