Large Antique c1910 Austro/Hungarian Silver & Turquoise Enamel Lucky Star Charm

A large antique c1910 Austro/Hungarian silver and turquoise guilloche enamel lucky star charm “Er Sei Dein Glucksstern”, This Be Your Lucky Star. Some damage but still a gorgeous piece in the most sought after colour.

It measures 19mm (6/8ths of an inch) in diameter, excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 3.4 grammes. Marked on the suspension bale with the lion head mark for Austro/Hungarian 750 standard silver and made between 1886 and 1922. The star is set with a tiny chalcedony  cabochon and the piece is engraved ”M Zell” on the back for the city of Mariazell in Austria. There is an area of damage to the surface of the enamel just below the suspension bale but the turquoise colour remains. The suspension bale has worn slightly thin but still seems fully secure. Other than this it is in lovely condition.
