Antique Edwardian c1910 Austro/Hungarian Silver & Enamel Swallows on Telegraph Wire Disc Charm

A good sized antique Edwardian c1910 Austro/Hungarian silver and enamel disc charm showing two swallows sitting on a telegraph wire and even detailing the ceramic insulator. A lovely and unusual piece. 

It measures 19mm (6/8ths of an inch) in diameter, excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 2.7 grammes. Marked on the bale with the Austro/Hungarian lion head mark for 750 grade silver which was used between 1886 and 1922. Engraved “M Taferl” on the back for Maria Taferl, an important pilgrimage site in Austria. It is in excellent condition just quite tarnished to the reverse.
