A large antique Edwardian c1917 9ct gold heart shaped padlock charm or pendant with lovely hand engraved swirly leaf decoration to the front and “MF 1917” engraved to the back. A super piece and such a lovely large size.
It measures 30mm (1 inch 3/16ths) by 19mm (6/8ths of an inch), excluding the safety chain loop on the top, and weighs 5 grammes. Marked '9CT' with a lovely secure closure. The padlock has a yellow gold wash which has worn in places to reveal the rose gold underneath. Overall though it is in super condition.
