A vintage 1950's European silver and enamel charm of a black cat wearing red trousers and a top hat, a lovely unusual piece. A good sized charm that is larger than normal for this style.
It measures 17mm (11/16ths of an inch) by 16mm (5/8ths of an inch) and weighs 1.4 grammes. Marked “835” on the jump ring and tested as at least 800 grade silver. There is a little bit of surface wear and the odd nibble to the enamel but overall very good condition just slightly tarnished.
