A vintage 1960's English silver charm of an Egyptian sphinx that opens to reveal a mummy inside.
It measures 16mm (5/8ths of an inch) by 11mm (7/16ths of an inch) and weighs 2.5 grammes. Marked SIL with a secure closure and in very good condition just quite tarnished. The mummy was originally painted red but most of this has now worn away.
