A large vintage 1960's English 9ct gold filigree sphere pomander charm that opens to allow for a perfumed sponge to be placed inside.

It measures 23mm (15/16ths of an inch) by 16mm (5/8ths of an inch) and weighs a hefty 5.4 grammes. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1969. It closes securely but it leaves a small gap. Overall it is in excellent condition.
