Small Vintage 1950's Silver & Red Enamel Heart with Key Charm “Guarded”

A small vintage 1950's European silver and red enamel heart charm with a key that says “Bewacht” which translates to “Guarded”. An unusual piece I haven’t seen before.

It measures 10mm (3/8ths of an inch) by 10mm (3/8ths of an inch), excluding the suspension bale, and weighs 0.9 grammes. Unmarked but tested as at least 800 grade silver. There are two surface chips to the red enamel above the key, but no loss of colour or design, and one tiny piece missing between the H & T. Other than this it is in very good condition just slightly tarnished.
